MP Kujtim Gashi from the Democratic Party of Kosovo has indicated why this political subject has decided to support the 2020 budget review initiative.
On the Info Magazine Show in Klan Kosova, he has said that at a time of pandemic like this, the country needs more than ever unity and that the PDK is not supporting this initiative because of the Hoti Government, but because of Kosovo citizens.
At the moment that the Republic of Kosovo budget was passed by the Kurti Government at midnight, the opposition has been excluded and the budget has been passed illegally. Since then, the Government has had to think about how much funds to share for the fight against pandemic”.
“Today, who's thinking about voting against budget reviewing at a time when the country is facing pandemic I think is beyond normal”.
“more than every time the country needs unity on the topic about pandemic. We vote only that the citizens of Kosovo. This budget is for survival for 2020. Kosovo today has proposed a budget for survival”.
He has stressed that the PDK will continue the criticism of the Hoti Government, but that when it comes to fighting pandemic, this subject will be of position and of all citizens.
Why the VV is not voting the budget revision is a miracle. They were in Government when they proposed this budget. They have changed their interests; therefore they are not voting. Today from the opposition corner, they are not interested in what is happening to the citizens of the country”.
