Albania, four dead and 83 new Coronavirus cases for 24 hours

The situation of Avid-19 in Albania is continuing to be serious only over the last 24 hours, four people have lost their lives as 83 new cases of coronavirus resulted.

Two of the victims were 57-year-olds from Shkodra and Debar, a 75-year-old patient from Durres and an 81-year-old patient from Tirana.

The situation at the infectious hospital follows to appear heavy, increasing in the last 24 hours of patients and new ages.

Currently, 72 patients in the hospital are located, eight patients are in intensive therapy in serious condition, and 4 of them are assembled in serious condition.

During the last 24 hours, 420 tests have been conducted for suspects affected by COVID19, of which 83 positive cases have been confirmed.

The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 38 cases in Tirana, 12 in Berat, 6 in Durres, out of 4 cases in Shkodra, Elbasan, Vlora, 3 cases in Kruja and Kukes, 2 cases in the Oil Bridge and Permet, from 1 case in Lezha, Mirdita, Gjirokastra, Bulqiza, Himara.

In the last 24 hours, 65 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cured since the beginning of the epidemic in 1946.

In Albania, there are currently 1415 active cases with Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection once again appeals for more caution, even during holidays and tourist season.
