Ahmeti: I expect to be an absolute winner in the Albanian nation

The DUI leader has said the political forces winning the elections will have historic duties for the country.

Ahmeti has given this answer when asked whether he expects to win.

“Now, if you don't break the election silence I can also talk about this topic, but it's known that we've worked hard enough, we've explained a lot of our options, our platforms, and I expect to be the absolute winner in the Albanian nation”, he said.

Ahmeti, who had declared that the new government should be led by an Albanian prime minister, has stressed that election winners have the responsibility to meet the road speed standards towards membership in the large European family.

“These elections are of particular importance I would say, if we closed very important processes for the country and the region, peace, stability and security, we are now opening a new page in the history of this country's membership in the European Union, with what winning forces in this country have historic responsibilities to meet the standards that offer and accelerate the path to European membership”, he said.

Ahmeti has added that this is an important moment for increasing people's standards for better quality education and more advanced health.

The “is a mandate that the forces that will win in this election certainly do a great job not to disappoint citizens, but as soon as these expectations are met, and there's a lot of optimistic that if dedicated work and heart work is certainly going to be achieved”, he added.

Ahmeti has called for respecting the rules of health institutions, in terms of the Comud-19 pandemic.
