76 police officials in Kosovo still active with COVID-19

Kosovo police (PK) through an announcement has indicated that from the presentation of the pandemic to the present day 154 police officials have resulted positive with COVID-19, 77 police officials have been cured, still active in treatment, 76 police officials, while unfortunately police official Ilir Djokaj, born in 1981 [...]
The police officer who was serving at the Police Station in Gjakova, from 07.07.20 has been reported on medical leave due to the most empty backlogs, and since 1107.20 has been hospitalised in the polymological ward because of breathing problems. After the tests were conducted, on the date 14,07.2020 had resulted positive in COVID-19, while on the 1507.2020 was transferred for medical treatment in Pristina.
Kosovo Police Through DDRP Gjakova, the Health Services Directorate in co-operation with medical teams has been constantly taking care of the police officer, and now, on the occasion of his loss, I express condolences to the family and all citizens of Kosovo”, the KP report said.
Police have stressed that, based on the situation and circumstances created since the presentation of the pandemic, it has been committed to the realisation of its legal tasks and responsibilities based on the decisions of Kosovo institutions and the preparedness and reaction plan against coronavrus, COVID-19.
Kosovo's “Police have undertaken all activities and measures thus far in full co-ordination with all competent institutions in the field of health and other relevant institutions.
