VV: President's bodyguards bleed our activist who dared to raise his voice to Thaci

The Vetevendosje movement has reacted after beating a Vetevendosje Movement activist over time until President Hashim Thaci was holding a press conference, seeking his immediate release.

The divisive president's bodyguards have hit and beat down activist Veron Hasan just because he has dared to raise his voice during the time when Hashim Thaci was holding a media conference in the square, Vetevendosje has said in her response.

Activist Veron Hasani has called <x0 vrano!”, believing democracy and freedom of speech still operate in Kosovo. But that's not Thaci's thinking and his bodyguards, it's further said in response.

Vetevendosje says that from images of the video attached, shot by the media, the inhuman and brutal behaviour of these bodyguards is clearly seen against a citizen who did nothing but speak. Once done with the citizen, the bodyguards have returned to the journalist, who has also been attacked to capture the video. Covering the tracks, characteristic of this president's associates.

Vetevendosje suggests that this party, its activists and citizens do not fear the latest of Pronto-President who's lost to them, and together with citizens, we'll stop him and all abusers.

“We seek Veron's immediate release, as well as request from law enforcement agencies that hit citizens only because they speak freely in public squares. We also invite organisations dealing with monitoring human and political rights, with democracy and freedom of speech, to react against this dictatorial arrogance that is trying to impose on Thaci's side in Kosovo”, the Vetevendosje Movement's response concludes.
