Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has for the first time commented on the indictment submitted by The Hague's Specialised Prosecutor's Office to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselin and others.
Vuciq has said the most important thing for Serbia is to show restraint in this situation.
The most important thing for us is to keep our distance. We know that there have been terrible crimes. In everything else, we should show restraint, as we thus protect the Serb people in Kosovo from any violence, incident and attack”, Vuciq said in front of the media in Brussels, where he is staying for official visit during which he has held meetings with senior European officials.
