According to Vuciq, Lajcak and Greenell's proposal will be independent Kosovo and will be required to accept it. He added that the talks would be monitored by the EU because, as he says, Serbia is following the European path.
The Serbian president said he is being pressured by all to reach a solution, but, according to him, all are for independent Kosovo, so he will go to Moscow on 23 June, and three days later to Washington.
“Neither Germany nor Great Britain will change their position [in terms of Kosovo's status]. I await Miroslav Lajcak's arrival [in Serbia] immediately after the elections, perhaps 22 June. On June 23rd, I'm going to Moscow, 25 or 26 June, I'm going to Washington. Everybody's putting pressure on us. I don't know why it's important if they put us on the table, Lajcak, or Greenell, that won't change anything. Their proposal will be independent Kosovo, and Europe and America will ask us to accept it in one way or another. The main talks will be held under the auspices of the European Union, because we are on the European road”, Vuciq said.
Furthermore, Vuciq says Serbia will not say “And that wouldn't help. But he has reiterated that it is for compromise, but without giving in to pressure.
We will certainly accept the European side, because we are on the European road, but we cannot say “jo” Green. This will not help us at all. For us, our harmony, our unity and it is important that people go to the polls. Showing that we have enough strength to say “jo” or to accept a compromise. We can't solve this easily, that's why I said Serbia wouldn't go with the white flag”, Vuciq said, writes news.net.
Next he's talking about his platform, said that “ ... they [ The EU and the US want Serbia to get nothing. We have to negotiate, even negotiate for nothing... Kosovo is an independent state, it stands on the platform of Europe and America, while in our country Kosovo is part of Serbia”, Vuciq has said.
