In Albania, new cases of COVID 19 are increasing at a disturbing rate, while geographical expansion has swept the country from north to south
Authorities announced on Sunday that in the last 24 hours 57 infected, an unregistered figure has been confirmed earlier, bringing the last six days to 258 cases, or 17 per cent of the total since the beginning of the epidemic on 9 March.
The daily average of the week just closed is triple the daily average of the last three months.
The last 24 hours have been observed in 8 cities in the country, while the number of cures has been extremely low, only five.
Infective hospital, there are 47 patients from whom one I collected and another 7 are in serious condition.
As the new cases are being discovered in the company, and public and private institutions, authorities returned calls today to encourage workers from home where possible.
While the removal of austerity measures was accompanied and with a significant decline in the intensity of checks, for implementation of hygiene rules and protocols laid down by authorities, they have been reinforced for two days.
