The Hague Special Prosecutor's Act against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has annulled the first Washington meeting to be held 27 June. The date for the new meeting would be set very soon, however, the obstacles causing delays in the return of the parties to the negotiating table may result in Richard Green's resignation from his emissari duty for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

One such thing had warned Richard Grenelli since January in Belgrade at a joint news conference with Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq.

The former German ambassador to Berlin had said that if Kosovo and Serbia do not move towards reaching an agreement, then the US will withdraw.

When we talk about whether it's right or not, it's not for me to say it. It's up to me to bring the two sides to the table, and it's in the hands of the parties to decide. The parties should tell me what they think and what they want. I am striving for a better future, for people in Kosovo and Serbia. We have to do everything to overcome what everyone sees as a conflict. If the two sides do not move and reach an agreement, we will withdraw”, Green has declared in January of this year during the visit to Belgrade.

The same warning Trump's emissary has been given in a video talk he had with the Albanian community in the US. The participants in the conversation with Yerenelli have shared part of the discussion.

“Ambassador Grenelli has announced participants in the conversation that he had met with President Trump and had announced him of cancelling the dialogue that was scheduled for 27 June. The president has authorized Grenelli once again to try whether he can rekindle the process, otherwise he is likely to be re-assigned in other duties”, Martin Voulaj, who has been part of the conversation, has said.

He has also said that Grenelli has said that there is an urgency and need for Kosovars to be reshuffled and to express their clear goal with a requirement for redefining another date for dialogue.

Trump's emissary has consistently insisted that the Washington meeting will be of economic character and that political issues -- or what it has described as the second phase -- will be taken over by the European Union.

Following the annulment of the June 27th meeting, Prime Minister Hoti has returned to Kosovo and has warned that the new date of the meeting in Washington will soon be set.

Hoti has made it clear that she will travel there since the Constitution guarantees the direction of the dialogue process.

As soon as it is expected that the Paris Summit date will be set by Merkel and Macron.
