Already, intensive therapy wards are breathing from the pandemic, or at least from its first wave, deeper studies are showing the true dimension of these unfortunate months.
A deepening study by the Italian Institute of Public Health has enumerated several slightly handled phenomena so far. According to the study, based on the records of dead persons from Coronavirus, the period ranging from the symptoms of COVID-19 to the death of a patient averages not 11 days. So a short period, and at least from public opinion, it was considered longer.
In the meantime, there are five days from symptoms to hospitalization, and six days from intensive therapy to death. As for accompanying diseases in victims, arterial hypertension is the most present disease, with 67% of Italian cases. Diabetes, meanwhile, follows 30% of the cases, along with the Ibrahima (27.8%) and other cardiac problems.
In Italy, only 1.1% of patients who have passed away from COVID-19 were less than 50 years old, and only 83 patients, in a total of 34 thousand deaths, had fewer than 40 years.
