The season of family weddings and parties in Kosovo is expected to begin on 1 July, under strict protective measures against the spread of Ovid-19.
A disinfectant tunnel is expected to be located before the entrance of restaurant halls.
So said the news.net chairman of the Association of Hoteliers of Kosovo, Visar Demolli.
Demolli has also said they have taken all necessary safeguard clauses and that they are now awaiting the Kosovo Government's decision to start the season.
We've all seen all the written arrangements. I've been waiting for a meeting with government officials today, but since you have the Parliament postponed. I'm actually believing on Monday we're finalising. We've sent it as an idea from polluting tunnels, such as the hospital, but we're the only ones that are a little more modern. We're also going to do the disinfectation of the halls, of gloves, of the goods they're going to enter the restaurant, to have hygiene certificates. We've seen all these measures, 90 percent of the restaurants have put these demands on us, because it's not a big cost, a restaurant somewhere between 1,000 and 400 euros can cost it. So we as the Hotelier Association have to take stricter and rigorous measures. For wedding halls it's becoming a lighthouse of negligence”, he said.
Demolli has told away about the news. We are waiting for the government to come out with a decision by June 15th.
We've been looking forward to the 1st of July to start, but we demand that by June 15th, the government will come out, because we've asked 15 days to have the opportunity to prepare the restaurants, we have polluting tunnels and start preparing. We are now waiting on Monday the maximum is the word to come up with decision”, he said.
We stress that according to official data from the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK), in our country so far there are 10,000 and 437 infected with coronarys, where 32 of them have died and 928 have recovered.
