Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister Rasim Lajiq has said that no company in Serbia will meet the demands of the Government of Kosovo that in the documentation refer to the constitutional name, the Republic of Kosovo.
He has reacted, as Today Dogana has turned back 15 trucks with Serbian goods that address Kosovo.
“With so-called reciprocal measures, sending goods from Serbia to Kosovo is officially limited and prohibited, because conditions are such that no company from Serbia can meet them”, Lajiq said, adding that the new measures “imply the interruption of all trade between Belgrade and Pristina”, follows REL.
The incumbent government Kurti has removed the 100 per cent tax on Serbian goods and replaced it with reciprocal measures. These measures have been tightened Sunday, when it was decided to ban the use of documents for agricultural and industrial products with names of countries containing elements that are contrary to the Constitution of Kosovo and containing elements that deny the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo.
