Kosovo Women Network ( S. The GK) calls for the reaction of Kosovo institutions as well as those of Albania regarding the 20-year-old Kosovo case, which was eventually reported missing, allegedly sexually abused by two brothers in a Kukes village.
Always having reports from both Albania and Kosovo media based, the two brothers have already been cuffed by Kukes police, as well as the materials they load with this work, have been sent to the Kukes Prosecutor.
Their arrest took place after allegedly having had sex with a Kosovo citizen, 20, taking advantage of her physical and mental inadequacy”, Says the Kukes police report.
Through this statement, RGK requires that this case be seriously handled by the justice institutions of the two states, taking all necessary measures to address it and punish responsible persons.
The rape of girls and women in our society remains one of the main concerns that all of us must raise in our voices, constantly and without compromise. The proper institutional response to these cases, on the other hand, affects their struggle and the creation of a society where girls and women enjoy an equal and non-generous life.
