Recak survivors have some grave words after the indictment warned against Thaci and Wessel

The Special Court's proposal to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and PDK Chairman Kadri Wessel is unacceptable to survivors of the Recak massacre, one of the most terrible massacres in Europe after World War II committed by Serbs. They say such an act would [...]
They say such an indictment would have to be established initially for citizens and leaders of the Serbian state, who committed crimes on the civilian population, while the Kosovo Liberation Army together with Thaci and Weselin have been NATO's main allies in Kosovo.
21 years ago, the village of Recak woke up surrounded by Serb criminal forces. Few do remember the early morning of January 15, 1999, where children, adults, and older ones were brutally murdered, including an elderly woman whose body has not yet been found.
Those who experienced this terrible massacre speak with great emotion about what they have experienced until they express anger over the injustice being committed to Saviors today, accusing them of alleged war crimes as real criminals continue to remain at large.
The survivor of this massacre, Rame Shaban, who was tortured by Serbian forces, as he speaks with great emotion about what he experienced, says he has experienced even more heavily the Special Proposal for Thaci and Kadri Wessel, when it is known that Serbs have committed numerous murders and massacres against the innocent Albanian population and have never been brought to justice.
Shaban told Kosova pris that the proposal-takza is unacceptable to him and other family of martyrs.
“After 21 years, being still suspicious is too hard for me to talk about the Recak massacre, about the head of state, about the commander of the KLA, about his deputy, Kadri Veselin. Today the KLA war was still suspicious. We know who the criminals are. There are 52 people, there are women, there are children. There are three of the family, it's Sahija, still 21 years missing. Today we talk about the war crimes that Albanians have committed, it's been taken from Europe, from the world, from all”, Shaban says.
For the Recak massacre, where more than 50 residents of this village of Shtime were killed and massacred, Saban says prominent, surnamed criminals are known. The latter were never convicted, even denying the crimes they committed, as fiction.
For Kosovo, for Albanians and for those of us we have killed, it is very serious. That only one Serb was convicted of this Recak massacre, are named, by name, Serbs and Kosovo Entrance, none have been convicted. For us not only as Recak who has been killed is too heavy”, Shaban said.
Agron Mehmet, two family members were slaughtered on the morning of January 15, 1999. For all of this, he had also testified at The Hague Tribunal against the Balkan butcher, Slobodan Milosevic. He says he is willing to testify every time to what he has experienced, and to show the innocence of Kosovo's liberation war.
“Lami for establishing an indictment for President Thaci and Chairman Wessel is a shock to us who have experienced the Recak massacre and for all those who have lost family during the war. Such an indictment would have to be established primarily for citizens and leaders of the Serbian state who have truly committed crimes against the civilian population. While, the Kosovo Liberation Army, President Thaci and Chairman Wessel have been NATO's main allies in Kosovo”, he said.
Near the memorial complex in Recak ceases the bodies of more than 40 people who were killed and slaughtered by Serb criminals. In front of the world, the Serbian aggressor did not spare children, women, and older ones.
There is still no known fate among them for Sadije Metush, where still remains the “digging”.
Mehmeti says that justice from Serbia, not Albanians, should be required for all of this.
We are willing to testify in defense of Thaci as well as in the defense of Wessel. So that the Special Court will once again see who the aggressor was, and who the victim was”, Mehmet adds.
The draft event against Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselin came days before the Kosovo-Serbia meeting at the White House was held. The head of state was announced while traveling to Washington until the latter had cancelled his participation.
