Prime Minister Hoti holds meetings in Brussels today

Recent developments in the country where the Special Prosecutor delivered charges to the country's president Hashim Thaci and other suspects resulted in the country's Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti canceling his participation at the Washington meeting.

Hoti and Thaci would participate in the White House on Saturday after the special Emissar's invitation for dialogue, Richard Greene, for a discussion with the Serbian side.

But although he cancelled participation in the White House, the first of the Government, has not made such decisions even for meetings to take place in Brussels today.

All meetings are held”, in short, in an answer to Kosovo Clan Ardita Dushi, the head of the Cabinet for Prime Minister Hoti.

Hoti in his agenda has a priority to meet with European Commission Chairman Ursula von de Leenen, Council of Europe Chairman Charles Michel, Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhely, and European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman and EPP Deputy Chairman David McAllister.

At these meetings, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti also indicated days ago the topics they will discuss with European officials.

We will discuss (1) the steps we take in the fight against COVID-19, (2) for the EC's support for economic recovery, as well as (3) for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, which has stalled not due to our failure to meet standards on the part of”, he said, Klan Kosova reported.

It has not yet been disclosed, however, whether there will be representatives of the Serbian side at the meeting.
