Petition: Kosovo Schools Urged to Be Educated

Both cases by a citizen are seen as a result of a lack of swimming as subjects in educational institutions.

And for this, an online petition has been arranged, asking the Ministry of Education to plan for the education institutions to swim as a subject.

“Today we've got news that a 13-year-old girl drowned in a pool, where she was six hundred feet deep. Two weeks ago, two children were drowned, one nine and the other 10 years old in an artificial lake in the Miloses. And not to mention all the cases that happen, where countless children drown in water because of swimming failures. Nott is the most important sport a man has to know from childhood. It's very important that all children have the opportunity to learn how to swim, and for this they have to be responsible for primary schools. Please sign the petition and apply to the Ministry of Education for institutions to swim into the educational plan. So there wouldn't be so many accidents in the water”, this petition says.
