Headship Member The PDK, physician Ilir Kurtishi, has been alarmed that Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's current government is continuing the mistakes of Albin Kurti's former government in poor management of the divided-19.

Kurtish said that from the beginning of the pandemic, The PDK has come up with concrete recommendations on how to manage it, but, as he said, the Kurti government made politics with pandemics, misusing the disease while in power and abusing citizens who invited them to protests among the pandemic.

The irresponsibly irresponsible to the pandemic was demonstrated by the organisation of a rally and concert from Vetevendosje, in Pristina Square, which included former leaders and senior government officials, ten days after leaving power. While in Government, they were inviting for social care and distance. When they left, they did not become upset about the health and life of the citizens. We regret to note that the current government is using the same approach we've heard three months ago, which in reality disguises in the struggle against Covid-19”, Kurtish said.

Ilir Kurtish's total statement:

The explosion of cases with David-19, which is now happening throughout Kosovo, is very disturbing.

Scary growth shows the various defects that have conveyed the management of pandemic, and that from the very beginning we have raised our voices.
That's what we're scared of, and that's what's happening.

According to official data from the National Institute of Public Health, today we have 652 active infections, of which 52 are lying in hospital and 20 are being treated with oxygen therapy.

Since the beginning of Kosovo's pandemic, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has provided ideas and proposed measures to meet this major national public health challenge.

We have repeatedly warned of delays and mistakes made by past government Kurti regarding the necessary tests and measures to be taken.

Also concerned is the lack of focus that Hoti Government has on pandemic, in terms of health and economics. Our recommendations for increasing testing were ignored.

These recommendations were in line with WHO's, the best international practices and targets of all governments in Rion and Europe.

The climax of responsibility in the face of pandemic was demonstrated by the organisation of a rally and concert by Vetevendosje in Pristina Square, including former leaders and senior government officials, ten days after they left power.

While in Government, they were inviting for social care and distance. When they left, they did not become upset about the health and life of the citizens.

We regret to notice that the current government is using the same approach we've heard three months ago, which in reality maskes in the fight against Ovid-19.

It is unwarranted and unfair to keep saying there are not enough human resources, or labs, to do tests.

Kosovo has many good experts, who during these three months could have engaged in testing, tracking, isolation and treatment of Coronavirus.

And today, when the first opening of the economy has been made, the virus has become huge, while we have not seen a plan for meeting this situation.

Therefore, we urge the current government not to repeat the mistakes of the past government, but to engage as quickly as possible with the utmost seriousness of halting the spread of the depid growth of Coronavirus.

We also appeal to citizens who have shown exemplary patience and care so as not to reduce their attention and attention.

We ask everyone to respect the guidelines of the National Institute of Public Health, to maintain social distance and take care of each other.

Health workers who bear the greatest burden in the fight against pandemic have been here and are here for all citizens.

We thank each of them for the fine professional work they have done and are doing.

Let us be attentive, and let us all try to overcome this serious health and economic situation as quickly as possible.
