Parliament fails to ratify five international agreements

Kosovo Assembly MPs have continued the plenary session during Thursday. But the five international agreements expected to bring millions of euros to the country failed to be ratified by the people's elected. The chairman of the session, Arberie Nagavci, said the vote by two-thirds of MPs cannot be processed further for other points of the agenda.
“To continue with other points must continue with the same voting procedure for avoidance from the regulation. It should be done with 2 deputies' attendance”, she said.
International agreements that failed to be adopted are reviewing the Financial Sector Strengthening Project Project ratification of the Funding Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the International Development Association. Review of the Bill for ratification of the Hua Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Zeza Water Development Project in Gjilan. The review of the Bill for ratification of the Agreement for Financing the Property and Geospace Infrastructure Project between the Republic of Kosovo and the International Development Association. The review of the Bill for ratification of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Kosovo on Kosovo's participation in the 2020 Union Programme. Review of the Bill for ratification of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Kosovo on Kosovo's participation in the Union's “Fiscalis 2020”. /
