Kosovo Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani, KFOR Commander General Michele Ries, ambassadors of the QUNT states, diplomats and MPs have placed flowers at KFOR soldiers' Memorial Plaka.
Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani has said she will remember all the victims of war. According to her, Kosovo is free and has independence thanks to its friends.
Today I address our international friends to thank you for the deliverance of our country. Today we're going to remember all victims”.
Kosovo today is free has its independence thanks to international friends. We remember today all the victims of war, we remember 1 133 children killed”.
KFORI Commander Michele Reese has thanked all those present, as well as states that have helped Kosovo at the time it needed.
Later in the courtyard of the Kosovo Assembly at 11 o'clock, 1 133 flowers will be planted as a reminder of children killed during the war.
