Minister of Foreign Affairs talks with Palmer on the phone

Foreign Affairs Minister Melza Haradinaj- Stublla has held a phone conversation with Matthew today. Palmer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States and Special Representative for the Western Balkans, indicating that the role of the US has been vital and crucial to the life of Kosovo's right as a free state.

Haradinaj- Stublla says he has reconfirmed that Kosovo's strategic and historical alliance with the United States is the axis of every achievement as a state.

“In all stages of statehood, the US's role has been vital and crucial to the life of Kosovo's right as free, independent and democratic, consolidated for the domestic and internationally recognised”, it said.

The minister has also thanked Palmer for unlocking the Millennial Corporation funds (MCC), as well as for the new US attention and energy in efforts to reach the final agreement with Serbia for mutual recognition.
