Former Prime Minister and LV chief Albin Kurti has indicated that the party he leads will continue to hold protests until new elections.
The invited course in co-operation organised by “Friedrich Ebert Stiftung” has said that Vetevendosje will be very active, and that more than 51% in all polls have emerged.
“We are the largest parliamentary party in the Assembly, of course we will have a primary role there. We'll be very active. There will be protests from time to time. In the polls we are more than 51%, currently we have health crisis, economic policy in Kosovo”, he has said.
When I was a protest leader, very often the politicians told me why you don't go to the elections and get into the government and see what it is like, after 10 years I won. Now, it's not worth winning in elections, and it's got to go on protests”, says Kurt.
The former prime minister has compared the votes he has received in the last elections to the chief executive, Avdullah Hoti, and chief Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani.
The prime minister who is currently in the government has less than 1 sixth of the vote if compared to Vjosa Osmani, who is the prime minister and who was a candidate in the election”, he says.
The first of LVV has added that it is crazy to now be discussed in exchange for territories.
If you think there may be new boundaries, which you can draw on a map, it's crazy, it's not possible. It is important to know that only authoritarian leaders with patriarchal logic think that they are the father of the State and that the state is their home, their territory is theirs, and they can trade land. It's the president who works as if he's monarch”, he added.
