Kosovo couple attempt to smuggle bees from Serbia

Kosovo police during patrols at the site called Sarpelj in Leposaviq have banned a car with local license plates in which a couple from Kosovo had been in.

Police have found that there were 36 boxes of bees smuggled from Serbia in the suspect illegally outside the border crossing from Serbia on Kosovo territory.

“The police unit during patrol at the site called Sarpelj in Leposaviq had stopped the car with local license plates in which the suspects had been a male and a female of both Kosovars. It is estimated that there were 36 packs of bees smuggled from Serbia in the suspect illegally outside the border crossing from Serbia on Kosovo territory. In consultation with the prosecutor the case has been initiated, while with bees smuggled for other procedures continues Kosovo Customs” - the 24-hour police report reports reported.
