The beds are waterproof and can handle a load of up to 300 kilograms, said Vikram Davan, who along with his brother came up with design while in quarantine.
“Shrate is compact, easy and can be produced and assembled within minutes,” said Davan.
The New Delhi government is placing 10,000 beds in a spiritual centre on the outskirts of the city that is becoming a centre dedicated to the coronary virus.
Mumbai, who has a large number of cases, also uses these beds.
The Davan brothers did not publicly reveal the cost of producing every bed, but reportedly costs about ten dollars, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.
