He in a statement to the media, after meeting with David McAllister, chairman of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, said he has asked Ambassador Richard Green to postpone the June 27th meeting in Washington, Kosovo Serbia.
There is no alternative. We now have the necessary institutional authority as a state to overcome any situation we face. I've been consulting Ambassador Green for another day because of developments. Issues related to justice, such as yesterday's decision, I believe they should not be discussed but respected. I believe that now, as Kosovo, we have institutional caution to overcome these questions”, Hoti said.
Hoti today announced that Brussels will return to Pristina and will not travel without President Hashim Thaci in Washington.
Meanwhile, Thaci yesterday, following news that The Hague prosecution has handed over the indictment for war crimes, cancelled his visit to the White House, where he would meet with the US-brokered Serbian delegation.
