Health Minister Armenmen Zemaj, has visited Gnjilan's Regional Hospital and the Regional Centre of Public Health, accompanied by the mayor of Gjilan municipality, Lutfi Haziri.
Zemaj has said institutions are being prepared in terms of establishing health capacities and persons infected with the COVID-19 virus, and needing medical treatment, should be extended to regional hospitals rather than to be transported to Pristina.
Zemaj has declared that the situation with the pandemic is under control.
Everything is under control. Today we are here to increase our capacities so that cases that are not emergency are not transported to the Infective Clinical Centre in Pristina. The situation is under control and it is true that there is an increase in the number of cases, but my policy and the National Public Health Institute is also increasing the number of tests we have under control both in contact and in new cases, which can be submitted by movement, but also by the exile which is expected to come to”, Zemaj said.
