Denmark's prime minister, Mattte Fredericksen, has postponed her wedding to attend the European Council meeting in July.
Through a Facebook post, Fredericksen writes that the Council meeting in Brussels was scheduled on the very day of her wedding on July 18th, but that she will do her job and that she will protect Denmark's interests.
I'm looking forward to marrying this wonderful man. But it certainly shouldn't be easy, and now the Council meeting in Brussels will be held just Saturday in July, when we planned our marriage. But I have to do my job and protect Denmark's interests. So once again we have to change our” plans, she writes.
The European Council summit will be held on July 17th and 18th to find a compromise in negotiations on the 750 billion-euro programme to cope with the economic crisis caused by the coronary pandemic./Ora News.tv/
