Most of the dead are colored people, mainly of African and Asian descent. New details for victims are expected to be published in the following days by the newspaper “The Guardian”.
More precisely, on the database in the “project Lost on the Frontline” states the names of 586 people who died in the face of new illness on the front line.
This project is designed to expose the human stories of heroism behind statistics. None of these health workers began the year, thinking that simply going to work would expose them to a virus that could kill them.
When the crisis came, they faced the challenge. They stayed at work for hours. Emergency workers rushed to help people.
Susana Pabatao, one of the thousands of filipinas working in the U.S. health sector, became a nurse in her 40s. She died just days after her husband, Alfredo, who also became infected with Covid-19.
In contrast, the United States has the highest number of victims and coronary infections worldwide.
