576 years ago, Torville's battle took place, where Skenderbe defeated great Ottoman forces in the area of Torville, also known as the Battle of Down Below Deb.
After the Lezha Testament was formed, where the Arab princes joined, Sultan Murati II sent a 25 thousand-strong force leading one of his most experienced commanders, Ali Pashain of Skopje.
Skenderbeu faced the Ottoman army in the area of Torville, where after a tactical battle from Skenderbeu, 22 thousand Ottoman soldiers were killed, while only a few hundred were killed in the Albanian ranks.
With this victory, the myth of Ottoman invisibility was broken and marked the beginning of 25 years of unbroken wars of Gjergj Kastriot.
