22 names of new government ministers

Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has appointed 22 deputy ministers from political subjects who make up the ruling coalition, The LDK-AAK-Nismia Social Democrat-Serbian Lists and other communities. The appointed ones have been distributed to 16 ministries, as total as the Government of Kosovo does. Their number is for 6 more than the total number of government dictatorships.

The decisions signed by the prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, date 19 June for the cabinet's deputy ministers' positions.

Under these decisions signed by the head of government, several ministries have been appointed by three deputy ministers, as well as the Ministry of Economy and Environment, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Rural Development, in four of the ministries have been appointed by two deputy ministers, while in eight ministries has only been appointed by one deputy minister.

As for gender representation, of 22 appointed deputy ministers, only three are women, two from non-Albanian communities.

The decisions state that deputy ministers are responsible for managing activities in areas assigned by the ministers when they are missing or unable to carry out their duties.

The deputy ministers are also obliged to make a statement of wealth, in accordance with legislation in effect, within thirty days of entering into force.
