Xhavit Haliti, a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has said that after the collapse of the Kurti government, his party and the Democratic League of Kosovo would have to make a new coalition.
Haliti has said these two parties would have to unite to share the country's future tasks and “not share power for party and personal interests”.
To be realistic, in what I think is that the PDK and LDK would have to coalition and not have to deal with the ministries of anyone with tenders and boards and not share power for party and personal interests, but to share tasks and to negotiate the future of the country”, he said at KTV.
He has said that if Hoti Government is formed, the LDK- AAK-Nisma - The AKR won't be leading long. According to him, this is based on “apetity for power”.
Because it didn't happen and I see it doesn't happen, anything can happen, I see it possible that after three months when this is over, the new government will fall. There are many coalition cracks, I see it difficult to function, looking at the appetite for power. It should be known why power is required”, he added.
Haliti has said he has waited for Kurti Government to last at least until September and not fall for just 50 days of power. He has said that this government has made mistakes at first, even citing the self-being “without law and arguments”.
As for the PDK's deployment to the opposition, Haliti has said this party has begun to better organise and make internal reformation.
“You have also heard the party chairman and all protagonists, the party's leading part, which we have been determined to remain in the opposition. It's not easy to be opposition, especially after a long time when you're in position and you've led it with all the dictatorships of the state, for those in position and for us at the party it was easy or welcome because I don't think anyone enjoys it when you go out in opposition or lose the elections. But the long stay, fierce political and slanderous struggle and perhaps not the PDK's little desire to face or argue or to stand up in political terms to organise as all countries are organised has been missed. We have not lost, we have one or two deputies less. The last party could get the government, but we're the third party. We pretend to take back the first party in the new elections. We're getting better. We've made big strides in reforming the party and absorbing the new blood that people say. The militant and political sections are also very active through social networks, electronic communication that are making it different from the past when we were less active”, he said.
According to Halit, opposition of The PDK sometimes resembles Vetevendosje, but according to him, these “are happening”.
“Words at the Government formation session have been intended to attack the group The PDK is primarily against Prime Minister and Vetevendosje. How successful and studied, he was the beginning. The analysis was then conducted at the party's bodies and there are after remarks, praise, all because the party is all present. But the parliamentary group is gradually recovering, and if it continues as parliament we will see very interesting debates”, Haliti has continued.
Whether there is a chance of cooperation PDK-VVV if the Hoti Government is formed, Haliti has said that the “ahead I said in politics there was no coursive non-diction with anyone”.
We couldn't see each other at the beginning of the parliament because that was how the reports were, and after a while we made the government together. We made Bajram Rexhepi prime minister. Now I think parties need to interrupt rhetoric and pan-tive war. They need to find the mechanism. They tried to get everyone around the table. They have to sit on their own. A mechanism should function to solve problems, especially the question of dialogue, the issue of economy, education and employment. We have many words, but I think we should work hard to create additional opportunities to help state mechanisms”, he added.
