This ban includes the consumption of any wild animals on the list of protected animals on the government page of Vuhan.
Coronavirus was first reported in Vuhan late last year, while authorities have blamed a wildlife market.
In January, China has made its temporary decision to sell and purchase these animals, just as it had done after Sar's explosion.
A month later, the government “has banned the illegal trade of wild animals” and “has eliminated their consumption to preserve people's lives and health”.
However, reports have since been said that wild animals have been sold back to China and other countries.
The exact origin of the new coronary is still unknown, although some data suggests that it came from an animal.
