All Albanians of Islam, enjoy the festival of Bajram!
This festival is of outstanding value, especially to those who spent the sacred month of Ramadan in fasting and worship. May God accept their fasting, their prayers, and their good deeds.
In this case, I am also posting this photo taken last year at the Mlica mosque in Dragash, which is built in 1289 and is considered the first mosque in the Balkans. This monument is evidence that the Islamic tradition of our people is very early and rich.
For this year, Bajrami's holiday is not common. The fight against Coronavirus has influenced many believers during the month of fasting to give up going to the mosque. Show appreciation for the care you have shown in respecting precautions.
Such provisions do not undo the value of this festival at all and the joy it brings to our families. So, please, continue to comply with instructions from IKSHPK and BIK even during the celebration of the Bajram holiday because only then can we defeat this virus and quickly return to normal.
God bless you and your families on this holiday.
