KRU spokeswoman “Prishtina”, the doctor said that the water level on these two lakes has dropped by as much as 10,18m from normal quotas.
The water level at Lake Batlava is 627.53m above sea level or 7.47 feet below the maximum access level. The water level at Badoci Lake is 639.67m above sea level or 10.18m below the maximum quota”, she said.
The doctor said that if this trend of atmospheric rainfall continues, then by July there may be reduced drinking water.
Accumulatements depend on atmospheric rainfall. If it continues with the trend of atmospheric rainfall and if we are not careful with the proper use of drinking water, from July 2020 onward, it can start with a reduction of drinking water in areas supplied by Badoci Lake”, it added to the telephone.
The doctor appealed to citizens to spend rationally on drinking water.
Let's not leave the faucet open without need, not water the fields with drinking water, etc. Together for a stable supply of drinking water. For now, water supply is stable in all areas of service”, she stressed.
Finally, the doctor said that Badoc Lake has not been worse since 2007.
