Russia has reported on Thursday 232 new deaths from COVID-19. This is the highest daily number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic.
A total of 387,623 cases infected with the new Coronavisur and 4,374 victims have been confirmed in this country.
The Russian government says the country's mass testing programme is the reason for low mortality rates.
