As already known, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has mandated the LDK's candidate for prime minister, Avdullah Hotin, but that decree has been sent immediately to the Constitutional Court, writes Metro newspaper.
The Vetevendosje movement yesterday was addressed immediately with a request to the Constitutional Court, where the 30 deputies of the VV) Parliamentary Group have demanded interpretation of President Thaci's decree by the Constitution.
According to these 30 deputies, President Thaci has committed violations of some provisions of the Constitution.
They've mentioned Article 84, paragraph 4, 82 paragraph 2, Article 4 paragraph 1, Article 84.14, and Article 95 talking about choosing the new government.
In fact, they are basing their argument, citing the letters President Hashim Thaci has sent to LVV) leader Albin Kurti as leader of the first party to emerge from the October 6th elections.
The Constitution of Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Greece, Serbia and Albania was taken in this request as a reference.
It is agreed that the Constitution is addressing the matter with high priority, so that during the day it can be decided about the appointment or not the provision of Thaci's decree.
