The World Health Organization has published new guidelines for mass gatherings and open-air organization at the time of the coronary pandemic, recommending possible changes for large gatherings as soon as they are allowed.
Under new guidelines, holding open-air gatherings and limiting healthy people only participants could help reduce the spread of the virus, writes “CNN”
In view of the fact that mass gatherings have political, cultural, social and economic implications, authorities should assess the importance and need of an organisation and consider the possibility of maintaining it, provided all health risks are addressed and fought properly”, the report says.
This organisation called on public health authorities and collection organisers to assess the danger before any gathering and published some steps that should be followed in case of mass gatherings.
These steps include increasing transportation, establishing seats according to rules, adjusting space capacity, and holding open - or virtual gatherings.
It is recommended that people endangered by diseases, including those over 65 years of age or those who have previously been immune, stay away from mass gatherings or prepare special spaces.
