67 people from the Peja municipality are continuing to face the COVID-19 virus. However, this figure is expected to change, as there are days ahead of us to see if these people who have been affected by coronarys have recovered.
The director of Health in Pec, Petrit Loci, told Express that there have been no new cases confirmed with COVID-19 in this municipality.
He showed that Peja is no longer in quarantine since Tuesday.
All samples sent for testing have resulted in negative. We're entering the seventh day when there's no positive case with COVID-19 in Pec. By yesterday's Health Ministry decision, Peja was removed from quarantine. From today Peja is working with new measures imposed by the MSHA, but with the same schedules as by now”, Loci said.
Loci said that over the next few days, it is expected that people who have already been compromised with coronavirus will be updated.
Over the next few days, people who have proved positive will be updated, but even their contacts, we don't have new cases. There are only five of us so far being cured because we've made our own arrangements, but we'll probably have”, loci said.
He added that the ICHPKA has responded to the patient's request for testing.
“In the IKSHPKA Community has responded to how many times there has been a need for testing. Currently, it is only the updates planned. The cases, which are presented as urgent, are sent to the Infectious Clinic in Pristina to test, but their numbers have dropped, and some days we don't send any cases to Pristina”, Loci said.
Meanwhile, he added that from 4 May to 4 May in Pec, the largest influx of citizens is being seen due to the relief slaughtered by the Ministry of Health.
Since May 4th, we have an influx of citizens moving on the streets of Peja, for the very fact that this date has begun the opening of MSHA's decision-making businesses. Moreover, increased travel hours increase the number of citizens on the streets of the city, but there is police control throughout the city that identify citizens or respect government measures”, Loci noted.
Meanwhile, the total number of people confirmed with COVID-19 in Kosovo has gone to 855.
They've healed 490, and already 26.
