Thaci welcomes the decision: I was convinced that every step I took was in full accordance with the Constitution

President Hashim Thaci has reacted after the Constitutional decision to be mandated as Avdullah Hoti of LDK].

I welcome the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the assessment of the constitutionality of my decree for Mr. Hoti, candidate for prime minister. I have been convinced that every step I took was in full compliance with the Constitution of Kosovo, and I am glad that the Constitutional Court confirmed it.

Political parties and all institutions must show political maturity, respect and commitment to the order, law and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. They should respect, accept, and apply final authority decisions on the interpretation of the Constitution and the compliance of laws and other acts with the Constitution.

Kosovo is expecting many challenges ahead, so now it should no longer waste time for the formation of the new government, with full legitimacy from the Kosovo Assembly. HTH
