Thaci: All parties respect Constitutional decision, new government to form as soon as possible

The country's president Hashim Thaci, following the Constitutional Court's decision, which gave his decree paving the way for the formation of the new government, has called on all political parties in Kosovo and institutional leaders to respect that decision, Periscopi submits.

“As a good leader I await the Constitutional Court's decision that paves the way for the formation of the new government. I've been careful at every step I've taken that every decision I've taken is in full compliance with the country's Constitution, and that was confirmed with the union decision of the Constitutional Court. The Constitution is confirmed as the highest institution in the country. I call on all political parties to observe and respect all decisions by the Constitutional Court. I invite all institutional leaders to have a regular political transition. We must preserve the constitutional order”, Thaci said.

Thaci said it is very important that the new government be formed as soon as possible.
