Thaci commemorates witness Bahri Fazliu on 22nd anniversary of the heroic fall

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has done his prayers today near the tomb of the nation's hero Bahri Fazliu, who he said was among the most active people of the national movement for the liberation of Kosovo.
Thaci, after setting flowers at the tomb of martyrs in Pristina's Velalani, said Bahri Fazliu has empowered the Kosovo Liberation Army.
“Bahru is one of the most active people of the national movement for the liberation of Kosovo, one that empowered and strengthened the Kosovo Liberation Army, with its political vision and all its fellow fighters to today be free, independent, sovereign and tomorrow in NATO and the European Union”, Thaci said.
Bahri Fazliu fell heroicly on May 7th 1998 in Bogika in Montenegro. He was a member of the LKCK and a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army. For several years he lived in illegality and was editor-in-chief of the magazine “clitrim”, which was published by the LKCK.
He was the brother of hero Fahri Fazliu, who on November 2, 1989 along with Africa Ziitina, is heroicly involved in a battle with Serbian police in Pristina's “Bregu of the Sun”. /Kosovo pres/
