Technical faculty students warn protest, student scholarships

The Student Council at the Technical Faculty of the University of Pristina has warned that they will go on protest if Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Hykmete Bajrami refuses to meet with them Monday in connection with the stock exchange competition.

According to them, with the contest for re-declared stock exchanges by AugustI, they have been wronged, not considering that they are among the most difficult schools, and according to them the 1.5 point of the competition has been changed since October of last year.

“Today, Minister Bajrami's part of the ministry's newly announced stock exchange competition became public. Unfortunately, we think that injustice has been done to the students of technical Factics, not considering it as a more difficult faculty and at the same time making changes of 1.5 points. in last October's scholarship contest, which says: “All mentioned fields at the score of 1.4 of this competition have the average grade of studies at least 9.0, except for the technical field that should be at least 8.0. The last one was unjustly cancelled, so everything was fine with him. The August scholarships are given to the students of deficit direction, so including the Technical Faculty, FSHN and applied sciences. To bypass these directions and become a partner with the directions whose students over 90% have average swimming over 9.0 is the greatest shame”, said the group's announcement.
