In recent weeks, perhaps as never before, journalists, specialists and politicians from various parts of the world have stopped analyzing and debating what is now called Swedish “44x1>.
The small Nordic country has taken a series of very different measures from other countries in the face of the pandemic caused by COVIID-19, while its experts ensure that “regardless of what you do, you will all be infected by the coronavrus”, broadcasting Telegrafi.
The government of Sweden has had a <x0 malcocillation” essentially based on the belief that exists between the population and between it and the government and its institutions. Thus, only a few events have been banned, primarily the meetings of more than 50 people, and although universities are closed, kindergartens and schools are still working.
Restaurants and bars are also not closed, though distance between tables is respected.
Swedish epidemiologist Johann Giesecke has defended his country's strategy for coronavirus, saying the isolation measures taken by other states are simply delaying the inevitable increase in infections and deaths, and not preventing it.
He said efforts to prevent the spread of the disease are futile because the likelihood is that all people are exposed to it before the state of a treatment.
Sweden has so far recorded 25,265 cases of infection and 3,175 victims.
