If respiratory failure occurs, Covid-19 could cause a drop in body oxygen levels, making organs strain that may eventually fail.
The study follows reports in the U.S. that blood clots are probably responsible for a large amount of coronary deaths.
Other studies have shown that abnormal blood clots in pandemic - virus patients COVID-19 faced a significant increased risk of heart attacks and strokes.
