Among the newly confirmed cases, 73% (631) are health professionals in the country, one of the most affected by the pandemic, where the death toll reaches 25 613.
In total, the number of cases confirmed by the test PCR and antibodies tests exceeded 250,000 people today, including 18 %s of health personnel (43 956).
In two hospitals in the Madrid and Catalonia region, the most affected, approximately 11% of personnel have been infected since the beginning of the 148x1> epidemic, said Centre for Health Emergencys Director Dr. Fernando Simon.
The epidemic continues its slowdown in Spain, where today's report reported 185 deaths in the last 24 hours, a figure below 200 per third day and far from 950 daily deaths recorded on April 2nd at the peak of the epidemic.
