Deputy Prime Minister Pablo Iglesias said at a news conference during today that the creation of a minimum national value of 462 euros a month would amount to about 850 thousand families or 2.5 million people.
The minimum income will increase depending on the number of family members, with the maximum salary amounting to 1,000 euros and 15 euros per month.
The programme will cost the Spanish economy about 3 billion euros annually, writes Independent, translates Periscopi.
This means that Spanish citizens who are poor will have this minimum fee even if they don't work at all. In the meantime, if the payment is employed, it will be paid without falling according to the salary.
Basic income is available in many parts of the world in order to offer more opportunities to oppressed and poor people. /Periscope
