Richard Green completes his term, U.S. Intelligence Director becomes John Ratcliffe.

Congresswoman from Texas was confirmed in the divided Senate. He received 49 votes in favour, while holding 44 against. This position so far was held by Richard Green as a task leader. Green, who is also ambassador to Germany, is also the US special envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. Trump had the best words for Green, the job done.

Otherwise, Ratcliffe is known for strong ties to the Albanian community in the US. Ratcliffe was nominated for this position even in July of last year, but refused the nomination in August, after doubts arose about his lack of experience and possible excesses in the resume.

But for Albanians, Ratcliffe is not only known as nominated for this high position. In 2016, Ratcliffe had been present and had handled the case in the quality of special guests at “The Albanian International Economic Forum” in New York, organised by the Albanian-American network.

In several other meetings, there are photographs of Ratcliffet with Pandeli Majko, Albania's minister for Diasporra and with Fatmir Mediu, former defence minister in Albania.

Meetings have also had officials from Kosovo, including Kosovo Assembly deputies, wrote top Channel.

Congresswoman Ratcliffe is a close friend to Albanian businessmen in America. This is evidenced by photos posted on social networks by these businessmen.
