More than anywhere, this reality is seen in the Durres district, which was even more affected by the earthquakes of September 21st and November 26th of last year.
But how much has the pandemic prevented the reconstruction process, and what objects have priority in this process?
“cannot say there is an intervention, but a compliance and interaction between municipalities and state institutions to continue rebuilding the facilities. We are at the conclusion of the reconstruction of objects damaged by the September 21st earthquake, until the collapse of schools that will be the first to be rebuilt. At the same time, all municipalities have prepared files for all citizens who have had their houses damaged”, says Roland Nesto, mayor of Durres County.
