He was the incumbent Minister of Health Arben Vitita, who, along with leaders of health institutions, called for no organisation of activities over a period due to pandemic. But this call is ignoring the party Vitita belongs to.
The Vetevendosje movement, even though it is the party that leads with Government, extraordinary elections in the country, is seeing them as necessary.
As a party, they even view June 14, as suitable for them.
Even from the Democratic Party, they estimate the new elections should be held.
But, according to Deputy Speaker of the Parliament from the PDK ranks Memli Krasniqi, this should happen after overstepping the pandemic and adopting an election reform package.
Meanwhile, parties that are trying to form the new government say holding elections have no meaning, especially in the situation we are in.
Even from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, they say elections in Kosovo have been held and they have produced a result.
The deputy chairman of this party, Muharrem Nitaj, tells T7 that elections cannot be held whenever one does not fit in.
And knowers and political circumstances in the country estimate that holding elections under these conditions would be dangerous to the health of voters.
But they also say voters themselves would hesitate to know at the polls.
From the Central Election Commission, they have not commented on whether holding elections in the current situation would be appropriate.
But this institution says it will fulfill its legal and constitutional duties.
Otherwise, it has been nearly two months since our country is being led by a government in office, as Government Kurti was dismissed with no confidence motion organised by coalition partner LDK, and supported by the former ruling coalition. AAK- PDK-NISMA.
