OAK response to Kosovo Forest Agency

Kosovo's Afarism Oda through a reaction to the media calls the approach of chief Kosovo Forest Agency chief Ahmet Zamenu Godi, unacceptable after statements that he made that he would not prioritize economic operators' demand for release from rent for KP forest lands.

The Kosovo Forests Agency (APK) has denied that its executive chief has issued such a statement, saying he is awaiting the government's decision regarding OAK's demand for involvement in the emergency package for release from the rent of economic operators exploiting forest lands.

OAK, meanwhile, says it has been informed by the media of the Kosovo Forest Agency's response (APK) to the request OAK has addressed incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti for considering the position of AK chief chief Ahmet Zejrullahu.

OAK describes the approach of AK chief chief Ahmet Zeinou God to the OAK official and businesses as unacceptable, saying that similar cases of presumptuous and derogatory behavior have been encountered before in meetings with former ministers, chief chief chief chief prosecutor Zejnu God, directors, and businesses, so that the statement that “chief of the APK, Ahmet Zeynep, has in no case given such an answer to the OAK<1>, is not said to stand against response.

For the correct answer that the APK is awaiting the Kosovo Government's decision regarding Oda's request for involvement in the Emergency Pack, for the release of the rent of economic operators who exploit forest lands, has been accompanied by the statement that they are not addressing it as priorities because businesses have money and can pay.

OAK recalls that in 31.03.2020 has addressed the demand for suspension of the rental payment to The APK, due to the pandemic situation and as the initiative, wants to be kept informed of the next steps.

Moreover, OAK explains that as a result of refusing any response to the address made, they have contacted The APK to be informed about this matter.

OAK thanks to the minister for his response and initiative to regulate this issue, though only one point out of four has been taken into account in this case:

U.A. No. 10/2010, Article 4 paragraph 13.7 and 13.8 restricting land exploration contracts in 5 years and 5 ha.

W. A No. 122005, paragraph 1.2 Article 8 obliges businesses to pay for forest and forest use for other destinations where the value of the annual increase in timber mass for 25 years for waste forests and 60 years for the logland forests without exploiting it.

W. A No. 16/2007, Article 1 paragraph 7, which forces businesses to pay your 0.20 per year tax per square metre for temporary construction.

In 05.05.20, MBPZHR has published Project Administrative Guide (MBPZHR) No. XX/2020 for changes and completion of Administrative Guide No. 10/2010 for the change and completion of Administrative Guide No.41/2006 for changing the destination of agricultural land, which means the change is initiated only for the first point, but not for the rest.

Within the specific terms, the Oda of Kosovo Afarism announces it will convey additional comments to the MBPHR on the Administrative Guide Project.

Otherwise, the Oda of Afarism represents the direct voice of its member businesses, where their destructive part has filed numerous complaints from legal injustices that are done on the part of the Kosovo Foresting Agency.
