Earlier, citizens had no right to circulate between 7:00 and 05 a.m., while during the past weekend, more isolation had been applied to the whole country, but with the new proposal, this ban was completely removed.
Also, according to recent decisions made by the government, on May 28th, the opening of gastronomy sector businesses will be allowed, in line with health ministry protocols. Gastronomial sector is required to ensure that they maintain physical distance, halve capacity and objects, and it has also been required that locals try to serve citizens in their open spaces.
Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Oliver Spasovski has argued that the situation with the Coronavirus is under control, as according to him, the number of active cases is now stable and that the health system can successfully cope with the challenges that corruption brings.
However, Spasovski has stressed that the danger of the nul coronary has been avoided, ordering citizens to be careful, especially at this time when the measures are eased.
“Virus is here and will be present until immunity is gained or a vaccine is found. It is important that citizens implement measures, personal protection and distance. Let's live with the choreography, but in order to protect the health of everyone around us”, Spasovx is expressed.
In the meantime, infected Fadil Cana, commenting on the easing of the measures, told Radio Free Europe, that authorities should by no means disrespect health experts' recommendations as far as Coronavirus is concerned, because, according to him, if that happens, the population is at risk.
We need to get used to that over the next period we're co-existing with the coronary, as it becomes part of us, part of our dailyity. But the free movement of citizens should be done with maximum respect to the recommendations of health authorities. The problem is not in general isolation of the state. The problem is how much the authorities' recommendations are respected, and how much the state cares for them to be respected”, says niglogu Cana, warning that the situation can be aggravated if citizens do not adhere to health experts' recommendations.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani says the government has made a decision to ease the measures, based on scientific facts.
We've been trying to show that no decision we've taken because of any one's political or individual will. But all decisions have been made based on scientific facts that the Commission has proposed for infectious diseases”, Osmani says.
But, infecter Fadil Cana connects the measures, as he puts it, the party's political calculations, as parliamentary elections are expected in northern Macedonia during the summer.
North Macedonia's “appears to be hostage to political calculations and disrespect of measures, I can say, it is not being observed by the authorities who are called for these to sanction. It is evident that people have already received freedom to disrespect the masses. While it was the police hour in power, I've seen the police walk by the pilers and they don't stop asking why they've accumulated”, Cana explains.
